Pigging valve is a new type of valve which is mainly used to clean the pipeline in water, oil, natural gas and other long-distance pipelines. With the corresponding pig, the pipeline cleaning, emptying and isolation, media delivery in sequence and pipeline system detection can be easily completed. It can completely replace the traditional pig launcher and receiver with the pig launcher and receiver as the core. The structure characteristic of pigging valve is a new type of valve which is innovated and designed on the basis of fixed ball valve structure principle. It completely inherits the performance characteristics of the two position truncation ball valve. The valve can be opened and closed by 90 ° rotation of the ball core. It is convenient to design double block and bleed, so that the medium in the body cavity can be discharged when the valve is fully open or fully closed. This function is just necessary for pigging valve.

A branch pipe is set on the side of the valve body, and the center of the branch pipe intersects with the center of the pipeline vertically. The quick opening blind plate and vent valve are installed on the branch pipe, so that the pig can be easily closed in or taken out of the pigging valve. The diameter of the ball through hole is larger, and one end of the through hole is provided with a stop bar which can block the pig from passing through and allow the medium to flow.

100% pressure test and ensure no visible leakage at any sealing part; fire resistant safety design, when the elastic valve seat is burned, metal to metal seal is formed between ball valve and valve seat; high temperature resistant graphite gasket is set at valve body, valve cover and valve stem to ensure high temperature sealing reliability. Fire resistance test conforms to API 6fa and API 607 standard requirements; antistatic design, electrostatic spring to ensure that the ball, valve stem and valve body good conduction, safe lead-in friction generated by static electricity.

Its main body is made of steel framework, which is equipped with ultra-low frequency radio transmitter and is covered with 2-4 leather cups. According to the length of the pipeline and the internal conditions of the pipeline, polyurethane cups and rubber cups are used respectively. They are mainly used for cleaning pipelines before putting into operation, venting before hydrostatic test, drainage after hydrostatic test, daily production maintenance after natural gas pipelines are put into operation, and medium isolation of mixed transportation pipelines.

 

The main material of the valve is carbon steel and low-temperature steel, which is divided into ordinary and sulfur series. The sulfur resistant valve material meets the requirements of NACE mr01-75. The applicable temperature of carbon steel series is - 29-150 ℃, and that of low-temperature steel series is - 46-121 ℃.
