When the valve feeds water from the inlet, the water flows through the needle valve into the main valve control room, and the outlet pressure acts on the pilot valve through the pipe. When the outlet pressure is higher than the set value of pilot valve spring, the pilot valve is closed. When the control room stops drainage, the pressure in the control room of the main valve rises, and the main valve is closed, and the outlet pressure is no longer increased. When the valve outlet pressure drops to the set pressure of the pilot valve spring, the pilot valve opens and the control room discharges water downstream. Because the displacement of pilot valve system is greater than the water inflow of needle valve, the pressure of main valve control room drops and the inlet pressure makes the main valve open. In the stable state, the control room water inlet and drainage are the same, the opening of the main valve is unchanged, and the decompression effect is obvious. The valve has stable performance, safety and reliability, convenient installation and adjustment, and long service life. It can be used in domestic water supply, fire fighting system and industrial water supply system.
